Draft Minutes
Call to order: Chairman Robert King called meeting of March 15th 2007 to order 7:15 pm At the Orange Boating Club.
Minutes: Minutes approved with one change the date for Turnpike public meeting was not April3rd but April 17th from Feb 15th meeting
Reports by other members:- Turnpike Authority gave a presentation on the new widening of Jesup bridge and the issue of catching pollutants into lake. Turnpike spoke a lot about different project that could be repaired from impact moneys for new bridge. After turnpike completed their presentation and much discussion from group, it was requested that a presentation from the turnpikes hazard team on how they respond to a disaster such as a tanker truck turning over on the bridge.
- State Road 46 Bridge Project Scott spoke about the meeting he had with Sanford Orlando airport FAA concerns, about the cranes needed to build the 46 bridge
- USVCOE 1135 project status for Lake Jesup/Channel Options Nothing has moved forward, Kevin Buck is working on his end to get some more information
- Update of Muck removal project / ERP review meeting Ed spoke about cost and, Robert spoke about conversation with DEP, there will be another conference call prior to next Friends meeting on April19th
- BMAP progress Report Robert spoke about a meeting he will be attending in reference to site 10 and will report after the meeting. Robert will also have a work session with Winter Spring on April 11th, update to follow.
New Business Reports or Updates:
We did not get to any of the new business due to time

- Lake Management plan presentation by county
- New F.E.M.A. flood maps
Chairman King asked if there was any other business, with none on the table the meeting was closed.
